Getting out of town for a day!

Sam has been working very hard lately and I am getting a little tired of the four walls at home, so we decided to go to Georgetown today to the Dutch Oven Cook-off. Les and Elsie went with us to enjoy the samples. Georgetown is probably one of my favorite towns in Colorado We have been there many times and are never disappointed when we venture that way. Fall is in the air and was surprised to see the flowers still so pretty there. After having a great lunch at one of Sam's favorite restaurants which is German themed, and tasting foods from the Cook-Off, we stopped by Silverplume to check out the bakery. Sam was wearing his NC State Hat and a couple noticed it and asked him about it. This couple moved from North Carolina and lived in the Mountain Island area very close to where we lived. Follow along with the pictures from our day. Enjoy!
